6.3.5 User Profiles Screen
Table 6-11: User Profiles Options and Descriptions
Option Description Default
Profile Number When you choose to add or edit a profile, the following options
display.

Profile Description Enter a text description of this profile. Up to 16 characters. Profile 1
Privilege Level Select the privilege level for all users who will be assigned to this
profile.
Options are shown below.
Installer Code
Code 2 User:
Lowest privilege level. Same as a normal user but on a temporary
basis whenever any Normal or higher level user turns the Code 2
feature on and off. Note that the Code 2 feature must be enabled for
the user who is granting access.
Normal User:
Allows users to:
• Lock/unlock doors
• Reset anti-passback status
• Arm/Disarm/Reset areas, change chime, interior and delay states
• Set the time and date
• Activate/Deactivate Code 2 feature
Maintenance Code User:
Same as a Normal User with some programming capabilities.
Limited programming user can run system tests and up/download.
Installer Code User:
Access to all system functions.
Security Schedule Select the time schedule that determines when this profile will allow
security capabilities.
Always
Allow Zone Bypass If this option is selected, users will be allowed to manually bypass
zones which are bypassable or force arm areas.
Enabled
Allow Arming If this option is selected, users will be able to arm the partitions/areas
listed in the allowed areas list.
Enabled
Allow Disarming If this option is selected, users will be able to disarm the partitions/
areas listed in the allowed areas list.
Enabled
Limit User to
Touchpad
If this option is enabled, user touchpad operations are limited to areas
which are common to both the touchpad and profile.
If this option is disabled, user touchpad operations are limited to the
partition/area list that has been programmed for the user’s profile. (If
the profile is allowed access to more than one partition, the user will
first see a menu for selecting a partition from a list.) Once a partition
is selected, the user will be able to make selections from the
interactive menu for the partition or toggle the arm/disarm state
(depending on how the partition has been programmed).
